this is a reality check:
Working out isn't easy folks. In fact it's hard. Sometimes it's a challenge to get the will power to get "going". But I force myself time and time again. At times I psych myself up to get on the elliptical for just 5 minutes and it ends up being 18 min. Other times I convince myself to "just do 2 sets of 10 reps". It really ends up being 4 sets of forty reps with added weight.
Then the dreaded stretches!? Just the thought of getting down on the ground on a comfortable mat with no thought of wanting to get up because I don't want to stretch is a thought as painful as working out. But trust me from my recent groin injury, stretching works! So when you're in pain and you want it to go away and get "back to normal" ( of course it depends on your version of normal) get on the ground or grab that pole and start working those muscles and tendons.
Yes, working out isn't easy, but setting your sights on reasonable exercise targets leads you to eventually make "working out a lot easier".
Be consistent and you'll see change.
